STEMcircles™-LGNSO

STEMcircles™ provide a nonviral, nonintegrating approach to reprogramming somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).  STEMcircles™ vectors afford higher transfection efficiencies and more persistent expression compared to regular plasmid-based reprogramming techniques.

Recommended for:
Reprogramming various cell types to iPSCs
Components:
1 vial of minicircle DNA, 100 µg/vial

Accessory Products:

Equipment Required:

The Jia publication uses the Amaxa nucleofector system (machine, program and reagents) for 1 of 3 transfections performed in the protocol.  This may be useful to customers but may not be critical if they can achieve sufficient transfection efficiencies and survival with alternate reagents (will have to be determined and optimised by the end user).
Access to automated cell sorting may also be helpful to customers to sort for GFP positive cells after transfection so as to ultimately calculate the frequency of iPSC generation (iPSC clones/transfected cells).
